Grab your Mickey ears and your peppermint lattes because the most magical time of the year is jingling its way back to Magic Kingdom! That’s right—Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is making its grand return for the 2025 holiday season, and this year promises more sparkle, more snow, and yes… even more cookies.

Whether you’re a seasoned partygoer or considering your first-ever sleigh ride down Main Street, this guide is your festive roadmap to everything merry, magical, and Mickey-approved. ❄️

🎁 What Is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party?

Let’s start with the basics. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) is a separately ticketed evening event that transforms Magic Kingdom into a snow-globe-worthy wonderland. Think Christmas carols, castle projections, sweet treats around every corner, and exclusive entertainment you won’t find during the regular park day.

From dazzling fireworks to character greetings in their festive best, MVMCP is basically a Hallmark holiday movie… with Cinderella Castle and a churro stand.

📅 2025 Party Dates: When Can You Celebrate?

The party kicks off November 7 and runs on select nights through December 21, giving guests plenty of chances to unwrap the magic. Here’s the full lineup of party dates:

November: 7, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21, 25, 26, 28, 30December: 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 19, 21

Pro Tip: Even though the party doesn’t officially start until 7:00 PM, ticket-holders can enter the park as early as 4:00 PM. That’s three extra hours of castle selfies, snack sampling, and ride hopping before the festivities kick off!

🎟️ Ticket Info & When to Grab Yours

Set an alarm and charge your phone—tickets go on sale July 16 for guests staying at select Disney Resort hotels (including Swan, Dolphin, and Shades of Green). General public? You can join the queue starting July 22.

There are discounts available for Annual Pass-holders and Disney Vacation Club Members, so be sure to check if you qualify for that extra bit of merry savings.

Tickets can be purchased online or by calling the Disney Reservation Center. But be quick—some dates will sell out faster than Olaf melts in July.

🎅 Meet-and-Greets That Sleigh

One of the most magical parts of MVMCP? Character greetings you can’t find anywhere else—including rare appearances and holiday costumes!

Here’s a sneak peek at who you might find decking the halls:

  • Anna & Elsa in their Christmas best at Princess Fairytale Hall

  • Santa Jack Skellington & Sally (yes, really!) at Town Square Theater

  • Mickey & Minnie in their holiday finest—perfect for that Christmas card pic

Whether you’re a character collector or just want to see your favorite pals all dressed up, these photo ops are pure festive gold.

🎄 Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade

Get your tissues and your camera ready. This heartwarming parade captures the spirit of the season like nothing else.

From toy soldiers marching with military precision, to gingerbread men that smell like sugar and spice, it’s a peppermint-scented fever dream you’ll want to watch twice.

And of course, Santa Claus himself makes a special appearance—because what’s a Disney Christmas party without the Big Guy in red?

Hot tip: The parade starts in Frontierland and winds its way to Main Street, U.S.A. Stake out your spot early for the best view, and don’t skip the second showing (it’s usually less crowded).

🎆 Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks

Minnie Mouse takes center stage for this nighttime spectacular that combines classic carols like Deck the Halls with jaw-dropping pyrotechnics and castle projections.

Cinderella Castle will be dressed up in glowing holiday scenes, perfectly synced with the music and fireworks above. It’s the kind of show that will leave you grinning from ear (hat) to ear. Looking to upgrade your fireworks game? The Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Party returns in 2025, offering prime views and all-you-can-snack treats. Details on reservations are coming soon, but this one’s a must-do for sugar lovers and Disney romantics alike.

🎤 Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration

This isn’t your grandma’s caroling group. The castle stage comes alive during this high-energy show featuring Clarabelle Cow belting holiday hits, Daisy Duck serving looks, and Woody bringing cowboy cheer.

Add in dancers, lights, and an infectious soundtrack, and you've got yourself a party within the party.

❄️ Frozen Holiday Surprise & Dance Parties

Elsa and Anna are throwing a royal snow day with the return of Frozen Holiday Surprise at the castle, complete with shimmering effects and some frosty surprises.

But don’t chill out just yet—head to Tomorrowland for two different dance parties:

  • Club Tinsel at Rockettower Plaza (think DJ beats + festive vibes)

  • Disney Junior Jingle Jam at Cosmic Ray’s, perfect for little ones who want to dance with characters from their favorite shows

🎅 Santa’s Christmas Carnival at Storybook Circus

Santa’s got a new gig this year—and it’s a whole carnival! Visit him at Storybook Circus, located near Dumbo and The Barnstormer. It’s the perfect stop for families to meet the man in red, participate in crafts, and soak in the holiday cheer.

🎢 Holiday Ride Overlays

Several classic rides get holiday-themed overlays, turning fan-favorites into festive delights:

  • Jungle Cruise becomes the pun-filled Jingle Cruise

  • Space Mountain, Mad Tea Party, and Tomorrowland Speedway all get seasonal makeovers

  • Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor features holiday-themed jokes and guest interactions

You haven’t lived until you’ve heard a space monster sing Jingle Bells.

🍪 Cookies, Cocoa & Christmas Merch

Let’s be honest—one of the best perks of the party is the free holiday snacks! Throughout the park, you’ll find designated treat stations handing out cookies, hot cocoa, and other goodies included with your ticket.

And yes, they’ll be handing out maps with all the treat stops clearly marked, so you can maximize your sugar rush.

Don't forget to pop into the Emporium or other select shops for exclusive party merchandise, including pins, spirit jerseys, and ornaments you won’t find outside the party.
